CNY 2013

Hello Everyone! Today is 元宵节 and this day marks the last day of CNY. Hope everyone had a great CNY this year :) Due to last minute changes, I'm having my CNY in SG this year instead :) Really enjoy how families and friends forgo all commitments in life and come together, just enjoying time spent together. All the food, blessed wishes, gambling, fun and laughter..all these are the reasons why I look so forward to CNY every year. It also marks a new beginning of each year, starting afresh, anew :)

My CNY this year has been pretty busy..due to alot of school commitments. yup last semester so lets go! :)

Pre-CNY:

 Went down Fossil Service Centre at their newly located Manulife Centre, I love how I was greeted to a huge wall of fossil boxes through the decades :) its like a huge wall of art, don't you think so? :) Went there to get my Burberry watch fixed for a brand new year :) It holds special meaning cause it's my 2nd watch from my Boyf :)

Headed down to my favourite store to see if there's any last minute CNY shopping needed to be done! =p Gotta love this sweater but felt its super inappropriate for CNY and it costs a bomb for a sweater so yup nope I didn't grab it :(

Managed to squeezed in a last minute slot for doing my CNY nails :) Love the dainty ribbons my dear manicurist did for me, so feminine! ;) I know my nails are always in good hands when I'm with them :) 

Was walking around Bugis and passed by my favourite Craftholic Store. Grab these 2 little plushies home! They are the limited edition Valentine's Day Plushies! Couldn't resist bagging them home! =D 

CNY:

 Fixed my bed to usher a new year! Say hi to all my soft plushies and new bedsheets! =) Must be wondering how I sleep right? Hahah I have my ways :p

 When the clock strike 12am, its a tradition in our home to gave our dearest blessings to our parents for CNY. This year, I prayed for their health, joy and prosperity, living to a ripe old age :) In return, we were given blessings from them in forms of red packets, which represents 满满的祝福. What matters most isn't the amount, but the blessings from their heart. I love you , Mum and Dad!

So yup, here's my CNY Day 1 outfit! Pardon my sleepy face from 守岁the previous night before :) Decided to go feminine by wearing LoveBonito COVET Fairfield Frock! Decided to grab red cause I simply love how Lace and Red could match so well! Pinned up my hair to look more presentable and fuss-free! Cause we were running late! =x

 My accessories haul for Day 1! Going all Black and White with my fave MySpringFling Boy Satchel, Zara heels, MiuMiu Floral Bracelet, Mauboussin Watch and Chanel Chain :)

 Ain't the Boy Satchel pretty? It compliments almost any outfit well! :)

Day 2 went well with aunt's family dropping by and heading out thereafter to continue my CNY house visiting! Decided on OhVola Gwyneth Dress in Rose and I love the gorgeous back as well as the color of this dress! :)

Day 3 was back to studying due to hectic school schedule for exams and tests even though it was a PH still. Decided not to dampen my mood, thus I chose AmberAvenue Lace Romper in Red to be all comfy and still look like in CNY mood! I love how the lace collar and shoulders with the gorgeous bare-back design goes so well with a romper design! =D

 Day 4 is back to school and work time! Looking forward to greeting my friends well wishes in sch! Donned in AmberAvenue Lace Romper White which got me much compliments! Gorgeous design, great cutting, my most fave romper till date! :)

Day 7: 人日快乐! It was our annual house visiting to Poly Lecturer's home in Bukit Batok :) Every Year, I look forward to this day because I can get to interact with my poly mates on their life so far! So glad all of us are either in the workforce, graduating or in their university in Aussie! The laughter, fun and chit chatting are the best and time always passed by so fast! Decked in LoveBonito Dawson Skater Dress Yellow that brightens up my mood! And I finally got to carry out one of my most fave bags to date: MySpringFling Doctor Bag! It's so gorgeous and I love the Givenchy Inspired Print on the bag! Hee.

My Jewellery for CNY period! Gotta love the rings I got off Cineleisure store! Gonna hunt for more when I'm back there! =D

Day 8: Steamboat at YingTian's Place! :) 

Enjoying steamboat with dearest girls! =D and Hello to my Senior Shermaine! It's nice seeing her irl for the first time =)

 First CNY together with my ShimmeryIntimates and many more to come :) Wore out OhVola Lilya Crochet Frock in Wisteria to compliment the theme! :)

Thanks to dear Ying Tian for the surprise Tiramisu Hero for CNY just for this gathering! :) It's delicious!

On a side note, I loved all the photos we took together back at the photoshoot some time back! The photos turned out well! Thank you girls for coming into my life :) You guys have been great friends! Love u all!

 Day 10 was back to praying to 迎接财神and天公! :) A yearly tradition that needs to be passed down generations!

 Studying at my fave hangouts lately! Got hooked on to Granola with Milk too! My staple at every Studying session! =)

 Basics are the best to make me survive the hectic week of 3 exams and 1 assignment! :) Gotta love Basics from HVV, HH and MP! They are all so comfy! :)

 When our brains went dead on thursday while studying, I decided to go on shopping for awhile! Spotted this nude heels at ZARA and I'm sold! Nude checked, low heels checked, gorgeous design and cutting checked! This heels send me drooling! Hee. Was in Black Leather Shorts x White Shirt! :)

 On a Side Track, I missed Boyf and I'm flying off a week to see him soon!

Ending off this entry with a random quote that I found so true..It reflects my current state now quite well. I'm just a woman in process, learning as much as I can..to be who I can be..Every lesson learnt, every experience gotten will only shape me up better, I hope..
