Drips Bakery Cafe

A Drip of This and a Little of That:

Today's Cafe Haunts is :
Drips Bakery Cafe
82 Tiong Poh Road, #01-05

Decked in AforArcade Romper
Raspberry Tart
Macadamia Tart
Flat White
Mocha
Homemade Focaccia with Ham and Cheese Sandwhich
Overall Verdict: 9/10
Comments: Situated in a cosy quiet corner of Tiong Bahru Estates, this cafe is not new to most of us. The ambience and decorations of the store brings a relaxing vibe to the whole experience. What greets you as you step in is the alluring display of the pastries and cakes, followed by the coffee corner! Love the aroma of coffee everywhere:) We love the tarts, especially the macadamia tart. It's really irresistible and once you start the first bite, you won't want to stop if you are a macadamia nuts lover! =D I'm impressed at the Focaccia Sandwhich as it was all handmade from scratch. The bread is fragrantly baked with loads of herbs and cherry tomatos. It goes so well with ham and cheese; together with the fresh salad that accompanies with it. I'm salivating now as I penned this entry down. The coffee was average, but the food sure cover that up! I would highly recommend people to try them out! You won't regret for sure! :)

Till then,

Soho Coffee

Hello everyone!:)

I decided to pen down some of the cafes haunts that I have been to since the past :) To start, it's SOHO Coffee!
SOHO COFFEE
36 Armenian Street

Here's my outfit. Decided to pair up soothing pastel colors and trying out different mixtures of textures and patterns! Paired up Zara's Nautical Stripes Shirt with LoveBonito's White Lace Skirt. Kept the whole outfit simple with black accessories =D

We decided to order a main and dessert, coupled with coffee of course! :)
Hazelnut Chocolate Cake
Big L Breakfast with Honey Baked Ham
Flat White
Mocha
Overall Verdict: 6.5/10
Comments: Coffee were so-so. Usually I enjoyed my coffee without any sugar added. However, the flat white is underextracted, thus I added the sugar to counter the acidity from the under extraction of the coffee beans. The breakfast set was normal; however the tomato could be grilled further with some rosemary and less pepper for my eggs would be great! Hazelnut Choc Cake was a little disappointing as there's no texture from the hazelnut layer as you would taste from other Hazelnut cakes. All in all, the ambience was cosy and small, I could drift myself away in time over there for a read over maybe other drinks! :)

Cheers,
Felicia
