Weekends- the best time to relax the soul.

Weekends, the best part of the week where everyone looks forward to after a week of hectic work. How did you spend yours?

Friday night was the start of weekend! Headed over to JB for this awesome huge pot of Fresh seafood Porridge and Loads of LokLok, follow by blackballs! Everytime I go JB, I feel like a pig. All we do is chit chat, laugh and eat; nonstop! lols! But it sure was a night of fun and joy =D

The next morning, I had all my favourites in a plate! Lamb Chop Spaghetti in Homemade Tomato Sauce with Cheese Chicken Sausage! The portion was too huge, I had to share with mummy! =) Yums! Thank you :)

Headed out immediately after to my next found favourite hangout place, Assembly Coffee!

Cappuccino and I ordered something new, baby Chino (quoted by friend as Diabetes in a Cup, lols!) Surprisingly, its good! It's simply warm fluffy milk with marshmallows, biscuits and cocoa powder! =D

Milk is one of my fave!

Our usual routine awaits. My photographer suddenly has the urge to shot so there we go, Henderson Wave under the scorching hot sun for some phototaking!

Tried their Raspberry Lime Tea Cake and Rosemarry Butter Cake and mine, they are so delicious! Rosemary is a herb I love loads and I'm anticipated to try the cake when I saw it in the store! The fragrance of the herb was perfectly right, not too overwhelming overall. It was a nice combination! The raspberry Lime tea cake was refreshingly good! Can't wait to head back more to try! =D

As I'm penning down this post, I'm heading to the hospital A&E with a heavy heart for myself. Hope everything will turn out alright. Cross-fingers and good night.

Of Recent Happenings :)

 Hello! Hope the ongoing CNY has been great for all. It's the 15th and last day of CNY coming friday and I'm suffering from all the blues that CNY is over real soon :( It was an awesome CNY for me this year, thinking back :)
Last Sunday was a family day, so we headed over the grandpa's! The only grandparent I've had left, I treasure the time more. After that, I headed to the famous red door fire station in upper Bukit Timah for some afternoon tea time!

Assembly Coffee

Happy Chinese New Year Eve everyone! =) Hope all of you are basked in the festive season mood already! :) Decided to clear this post before CNY 2014 arrives in less than 24 hours =D
Alot of you are curious what is my career now as I have been posting some pictures of myself with baby micropigs. I work in the science laboratory field, for a contract research organization. Basically, we carry out scientific research studies for our clients, both locally and internationally. My workplace is also a breeding centre for micropigs, thus the joy of seeing babies all the time =D They maybe of nuisance though sometimes, especially this little fellow below. He's only about a week old and my dear, he was shivering for quite awhile. He pooped alot during the shoot, but hey babies are all like that :) Cleaned him up with baby wipes and played with him awhile more and he's all ready to go!

He was practically falling asleep as I carried him in my arms haha. It was hard to keep him awake but a joy to see him sleep so soundly!

Headed over to Evans Road for some Assembly coffee goodness cause the owner was a friend of my photographer's! Gorgeous owner lady with great hospitality. Nice Cosy Place too!

Latte was alittle over acidic as usual but the Cappuccino is awesome! 

Didn't manage to took a photo of the yummy Croissant :(  

Their coffee beans were supplied from Liberty Coffee.

Would recommend all to go for some relaxation me time over some coffee and light snacks.

Ended the day with some light food over at my usual favourite haunt around the area. 

Can't wait for the long festive weekend of chitchatting, eating and playing with family and friends. Happy Chinese New Year in advance People!
