Weekends- the best time to relax the soul.

Weekends, the best part of the week where everyone looks forward to after a week of hectic work. How did you spend yours?

Friday night was the start of weekend! Headed over to JB for this awesome huge pot of Fresh seafood Porridge and Loads of LokLok, follow by blackballs! Everytime I go JB, I feel like a pig. All we do is chit chat, laugh and eat; nonstop! lols! But it sure was a night of fun and joy =D

The next morning, I had all my favourites in a plate! Lamb Chop Spaghetti in Homemade Tomato Sauce with Cheese Chicken Sausage! The portion was too huge, I had to share with mummy! =) Yums! Thank you :)

Headed out immediately after to my next found favourite hangout place, Assembly Coffee!

Cappuccino and I ordered something new, baby Chino (quoted by friend as Diabetes in a Cup, lols!) Surprisingly, its good! It's simply warm fluffy milk with marshmallows, biscuits and cocoa powder! =D

Milk is one of my fave!

Tried their Raspberry Lime Tea Cake and Rosemarry Butter Cake and mine, they are so delicious! Rosemary is a herb I love loads and I'm anticipated to try the cake when I saw it in the store! The fragrance of the herb was perfectly right, not too overwhelming overall. It was a nice combination! The raspberry Lime tea cake was refreshingly good! Can't wait to head back more to try! =D

As I'm penning down this post, I'm heading to the hospital A&E with a heavy heart for myself. Hope everything will turn out alright. Cross-fingers and good night.

Of Recent Happenings :)

 Hello! Hope the ongoing CNY has been great for all. It's the 15th and last day of CNY coming friday and I'm suffering from all the blues that CNY is over real soon :( It was an awesome CNY for me this year, thinking back :)
Last Sunday was a family day, so we headed over the grandpa's! The only grandparent I've had left, I treasure the time more. After that, I headed to the famous red door fire station in upper Bukit Timah for some afternoon tea time!

A blink of an eye and it's already the 4th day of CNY, and it's back to work tomorrow..boohoo! Nonethless, hope you guys had loads of fun and a well deserved break from work and school over the weekend! :)

CNY Day 2 was a relax one as my family has covered most of them in Day 1. Went out for CNY visiting to an important elder in the family, and I'm glad at her age of 91, she's all healthy still. Counting my blessings each year as we get to visit her and filled her with laughter. Basically, my whole Day 2 is dedicated to the eastern part of SG. haha!

Day 3 was more of a relax day to rest our bodies from the hectic busy visiting schedules, which I have no complains over of course :)

Headed to one of my usual brunch places for some comfort food and my, I miss the smells of coffee.

Then, we headed to Marina Barrage for some wind and view.

We were fooling around, trying to imitate the 'Follow Me' Project by this famous instagramer that went viral after all his photos were poses of him being held on to by his partner to bring him to amazing places around the world!
