A planned outing, an unplanned decision and shiokness! ;)

It's already mid of the week..the only thing I can rejoice about..2 more days to TGIF! =D

Alot of things happening this week.. my dearest jiemei (aka twin) is celebrating her 21st this sat! Excited much! Having been half of her party planner, choosing her dress, doing her makeup etc..can't wait! :) Made a booking at FBH this sat as well as a short getaway some time back! :) Excited much x2! also a planned trip to neighbouring Genting Highlands next sunday with friends I hold dearly to, excited much x3!!

But what's more exciting is really the last minute plan to BKK!!!! hahaha sua ku or wad, it will be my 1st time there and I'm so looking forward to it as well, although all the last min paperwork is a hassle :( will be flying off on this coming sunday afternoon, excited much x4!!! =D So much so for all these holiday getaways before the commencement of a brand new school year! :)


Shall blog today about a recent trip I had to ECP with a bunch of my Uni Friends during this semester break! :) Another dearly bunch to be with, be it during sch time or outside! :) Morning was a nice breakfast somewhere out of this bustling city and into the 'country feel' Rider's Cafe! Have been there frequently that we knew the Boss :) It was such a dear chatting with her whenever we are there, talking about all her trips overseas etc :) Envy her that she could just cast her business and everything aside and go for a last minute leisure trip all the time! I also hope I can next time =D




Sat at our usual seats which is closest to the fields and the most amazing views, I always enjoyed my time there. We would place our orders, followed by admiring the sceneries and horses with their owners while I'm bathed by the morning warm sunlight ;) relaxing indeed! :)


Freshly squeezed orange juice and camomile tea are our favourite must have from Rider's Cafe! :) With our Big hearty Breakfast sets! With the amazing atmosphere, great food and environment, what more can one ask for in SG? =D Side point, it's abit inaccessible! :)

So after breakfast, we headed down to ECP, making a short stop to LoveBonito's Warehouse sale to say hi to Viola Sis, Rach and Velda :) Caught up with my friends in ECP! They have already cycled for an hour, yes I'm late =x hee. So we quickly rented a double bike (cause I still can't ride a single bike yet =(( malu much!) haha! We cycled all the way to the bedok jetty area :) Sun was sorching hot and I was unprepared! No sunblock, practically nothing!

In comes a suggestion made by Qz, 'Let's cycle to Changi Village for lunch, shall we? It's not very far from here." Unknowingly how exactly 'near' it was, we all agreed! It was hell for the start for someone like me, who does only light exercises! haha! =P



Some pics we took while halfway to Changi Village, Changi Aviation Rd! haha ulu much! Not a single vehicle in sight! Ladies were a quater shagged already, especially WB~!! Oh and some bikes were not captured, in case you were wondering..lols.! So we continued on and tada, finally we reached for lunch! it was 12plus in the afternoon and my oh my, SCORCHING HOT! lol...



The girls of the day, me, LiMei and Wang Boon! :) We sat and rested while the guys went to order! Haha..we didnt ate much but drink lots! had oyster omelette and carrot cakes to share! :) With the drinks, it's super refreshing! haha! After the slight feasting, it was time to head about. We were discussing about our way to going back..lols..WB was too shag and keep wanting to cab back to ECP! it was hilarious! but nonetheless we were later determined to cycle back slowly to ECP!


This whole cycling trip was 35km ++ can you imagine! omg..and I had fun checking in on Facebook and tagging all of us! hahaha! Cycling back we get to enjoy the nice wind amongst the hot weather. But regretted much that I didn't spam on sunblock :(



I reached back the starting part of ECP and sat down waited for the rest. So it's camwhoring for abit! hee :)


Finally all reached back safely! Took a pic of how shagged all of us were! WB looked real pale and was kind of worried for her! But she's strong! haa! Never underestimate a lady! :) Took a last pic with them as I have to leave early for wedding dinner. Side note, the Caucasian was 'extra', he wanted to rest so yup! haha!

I love and enjoyed my time much with them, despite all the heat, pain and sunburns we got all after! =/ Never regretted the unplanned suggestion, and I shall end the day with one word, SHIOKNESS! haha =) Wouldn't mind if there's more of this next time!

It's amazing what a little kiss can do..

That day I was out on the streets, waiting for bus..Out of nowhere, I saw this mum alighting from the car, carrying her son. Suddenly, the dad got up from his car seat and ran to give a quick light kiss to his wife before driving off.

It struck me, that image..it gave me a loving feel atmosphere. Like it's their world and nobody else around matters. Isn't it sweet of the husband doing that? A slight effort to go that little extra for the love shared and the vows that sealed their fates, it can really change how the way a day may eventually turn out to be..

Isn't it amazing how a simple kiss could express many feelings. Cherish those that are near you, those that are willing to walk down the lives with you, because there will never be a 2nd time..

What's on Me recently!

Came to work today, noticing a huge crowd of people in their 20's (mostly smoking); gathering outside office near the coffeeshop. Suddenly, there's the arrival of a police van..wonder what had happened. The van couldnt even contain all of them, trust me (there's ALOT of people!)

Nonetheless, it never spoil my mood today cause it's TGIF people! =D

Gonna share my views on some of my huge loads of recent buys lately :)

First up,


What's on me:

Material is of what's listed on the website. It came with an incredibly long sash to accentuate our waistline ;) What I love about this item is the twist rope details at the back! Together with the sash, it's possible to create a number of different looks with this piece! I love basics with a twist for it still remains versatile, yet a tinge of surprise was added to the design! I wore this piece for work, and my oh my, lady boss love it too :)
Try pairing it with a cropped blazer, wearing it on its own, added your own collection of belts, there's just too much you can doll up with this piece! :) Length wise is good for me (36"). I'm of 1.69 height and the dress ended above my knee by about 1.5cm or so. Causual or formal, it's all up to you :) 1 plus-point, this material is soft to touch and won't fur upon washing! Yay!
My suggestion, pair it with black and silver accessories! Psst, you will love this piece! =D

Saw this at Zara and it was love at first sight! Priced at SGD89.90, its a lace/crochet skater dress with a low back :) But no worries, a strapless bra can still be worn at ease!
Paired it with a cream chiffon cardigan from missypixie's past collection for work :) The feminity that exudes out from this piece is awesome! Minimal silver/black accessories does the trick for a work look :) Or you may go casual with sandals or even LoveBonito's Claudia Crochet Flats for a brand new feel :) A small wooden clutch/ mini sling beach bag will do the trick :) I love the waistline for giving it a nice ballerina look with those flare skirt portion ;) But do caution that due to the nature of the dress, it might get hooked onto stuff, so we have to be more careful :) Dont't hesitate to go hunt it down at Zara, you will love this as much as I do! =D
My Suggestion: Cream/nude colors accessories is good for that soft feminity look! :) Black is a good color to add some pump to the whole outlook :)

Last to go before I'm officially back to work, I love everything about shorts! =D I have close to 10 pieces of them in my wardrobe now, with materials such as chiffon, denim, cotton etc..This is a pair of shorts that I've been wearing almost any occasion that I can get! :)

I adore the ribbon details at the pockets, it adds a tinge of cuteness that's not too loud! :) Love the material of this shorts and believe me, it never fur after so many washes! Never give up on yourself, especially when others did not give up on you!

A brand new post :)

Got decided to start up a brand new blog to pen down memories and experiences along the way; with people who have walked and left footprints in my life to date.

A nice long break from school has been a tiring yet enriching one. Have been to places unknown to me, despite being a typical Singaporean (kind of ashame of that, haha!)

Work has also been part of my school break. Daily routine of 12hours a day in an environment that I have worked part time for a few years with people whom are dear to me. Thank you Boss uncle for the Job offer. Although it's tiring, but there's time of joy as well in the office :)

There's an old chinese saying, "人活到老，学到老!" something very true which I've seen daily. Boss is in his 70's and yet he's still up-to-date with current news on his beloved new IPAD2! :) He's cute in the sense, he's a tech-granddad, from Iphone to Ipad2, I wonder what's next up his sleeves! It's really cute seeing him asking me on technical stuff and playing games in the office! Never short of some laughter a day, seeing Boss & his wife, together with my mum; playing the famous Apple game among the eldery! Yup, you've guessed right, it's "Fishing Joy"! :)

A part of our everyday work life to keep healthy (and trying to shake off abit of weight ;P), we will make the effort to go for brisk walking in the evening ;) Some peektures of the views from the park near the office;)

Isn't it beautiful? :) Helps relieve my stress away too ;)

Recently, a friend of mine was nice to drop by tiong bahru to have lunch with me during working hours :) Had TCC as we 've been attracted to its 1-to-1 promotion :)




Ice Cream Passion Fruit Tea,Yummy Slipper Lobster Linguine, Chocolate Truffle Cake (with Nutella-like crisp base)! Sure is a plus-point to that if you're a chocolate lover like me =D

On a side note, my uncle came with an exquisite Chinese Tea gift set for Boss! It's really lovely and hooray to more Chinese tea pleasure :)

Gotta get back to work and shall blog about some OFTDs on my next post :)
