Our Virgin experience to Gelish Nails;)

Had a tiring time since last week chiong-ing got exams and tests for language and core modules! Finally it has come to a short break down! Bought off Gelish Nails deal at Deals.com.sg the other time and we (bestie and I) figured out to go for a small treat today! ;) Booked our appt at 3pm!
Headed down to The Central at Clarke Quay after collecting my Snails Acne troubled masks from VanityTrove, just in time! Done with paperwork and off we go! Hee mad excited!;)

YY headed for a nudish glitter tone and I headed for a glitterish pink recommended by them! Because our nails are short from all those cutting few days back, light colors will not emphasize on our short lengths! My 1st time at this kind of color! Kind of looking forward to the end result!;)

All excited YY and her cute pouty face hee! her 2nd time in her lifetime doing nails! haha so honored to be the one doing with her ;p a friend I hold dearly, muackz!! oh and that's her finished nails! Love the natural tone on her and her flower crystals on each thumb ;)

Surprisingly, gelish nails are so quick and fuss free to apply! Save us quite abit of time and brooding over when it will be completely dry for normal nail polishes! I have also heard that gelish nails actually wouldn't harm your nailbed and it's actually more lasting! :)

I decided to try for acrylic 3D flowers as well this time round since this set of nails is gonna last me at least 3 weeks!;) Hope those lab's acetone and chemicals will not spoil my nails :( My nail artist at work while we watched with much amazement like soem mountain tortoises lols!
Lastly is to stack my hands on top of each other and send them for sunbathing under UV light! Waiting and waiting..zzzz FINALLY!

I'm falling in love with the fuss free and hassle free gelish nails that last even longer ;) though the range of colors may not be as much as OPI collections! I love the fact that they don't actually turn my nailbeds yellow as heard. Worse is I'm falling in love with acrylic nail art cause this type are usually the most expensive among all! ;) There's special package for Deals.com.sg customers and I'm indeed tempted :) Only chore is that the removal part has to be done back at the salon

FYI, a normal gelish manicure will be SGD50 and the soak-off will be SGD28 each time so it's actually more costly than a normal manicure. So you have to weigh ur pros and cons ba I guess. VanityTrove February Love =D

Yup so here it is, the box I have been secretly waiting for =D February, the month of Love is the season where everyone shows their love out loud for people they care, be it friends, family or loved ones..but we also never forget the little surprises that's tied to this season =)
I'm amazed by the effort put in this month in VanityTrove :) Emailed dear Victoria that my box was damaged the 1st time I recevied it, and immediately they look deep into this matter and my box was delivered in Smartpac box this time round! =D Thumbs up!

1st up, Filthy Farmgirl Handmade Soap! Totally in love with the cute packaging of this handmade soap! Anything handmade is of sincerity in the season of love. What's more to ask for :)

A really Vintage Trinket from RinsieRose! Flowery and delicate that's a good charm for a necklace over a real girly dress over a nice dinner..totally imagining the look of the necklace :)

3rd up, Mekhalaliving Shampoo and Conditioner! This small package contains huge amounts of goodness to lock up those nutrients to keep ur tresses all flowly and lux-feel :) It contains black rice extract that's all pampering for your hair =D Can't wait to try it out on my dry hair! =)

Next up is 1 of my favourites =D 2 mini botttles of OPI Nail Polish from the Nicki Minaj Collection! =D I have gotten myself neon pink and blue! Ain't they adorable? Even if I'm not someone who buy nail polishes, I'm falling in love with such miniatures =D Can't wait to try them out when I'm free from lab's acetone! haha.

My next favourite item from the list! SkinC Eye Mask from SkinInc! Godsent gift for me cause I have been troubled with dark eye circles and puffiness for years and its so hard to get rid of =( Heard good reviews about SkinInc before yet didn't have a chance to try out their products yet! Thrilled to really see this :) Shall give it a try and hope to see some results!

There's also Allerines Premium Tea! Received these before from LoveBonito purchases and I'm loving their tea :) Immediately brew one of the flavours, Sweet Dreams, upon receiving them in my Vanitytrove box :) Goodness from within! ;)

Valentine's Day 2012! :)

Valentine's day is a special day commemorated for not only our loved ones, but friends as well. On this day everyone will be on the streets, expressing their love for each other in many different ways imagineable, with the most common one being giving roses and chocs! :) its also an occasion for girls to receive little gifts from their mates ;p
On this day in year 2012, unfortunately its a long day in sch for me till 730pm.! What a torture every tuesday..Everyone received heart shape balloons in NTU, and im no exclusive! haha..received mine while I'm doing my experiment halfway! Glad I didn't blew up the laboratory..haha! A sweet gesture indeed, thank you :)
At night, I was brought to a secret dining place which I couldn't guess for the 1st time aei! Was kind of excited to decipher out where it was and this also means I have to do more research next time.haha! =)
Finally, destination reached at about 830pm and we were both famished!

A cozy ambience that only allowed a maximum of 15 guests through reservations! It's special because the chef actually cooks in front of you fresh on the spot! :) He's a private chef that's rather famous btw..haa! Whole place was decorated plain and simple, which candles and pink rose petals around :) Each lady guest was also given a pink rose each too as a gesture for Valentine's! How sweet of the restaurant people :) Glad we had window seats though there's isnt much of a view, but its the time spent together that matters more! :)

Our Menu of the night! I would say that this chef's simply amazing! Each of his dish is delicately crafted out to be the finest, with all flavours savouring within and it all collides so perfectly well ;) Would definitely wish to learn from this chef sometime soon, I hope ;)

After our dinner, we took some pictures with the chef and co-chef, and Diana (the sweet restaurant manager) around the whole small cozy area! Notice the 2 handrawn puppies? Those are handrawn by the Chef himself! Amazingly all rounder perfection in a person, able to cook and draw so well at the same time :) Thank you guys for the wonderful experience!

Headed to a nearby seaside park for a walk before we headed home. That's when he surprised me with his gift for me on Valentine's Day.

Thank you for putting all your sincere efforts in making this night a special memorable one :) I may not be the best girl in the world, but I will strive to be one..so thank you for tolerating my nonsense all these while during studying time or whenever..Thank you :)

Been mugging for all the tests coming up 1 after another :)

Just a mish-mash of peektures from studying in sch and outside these few days!

Thanks to my dear uni frens for being so sweet on Valentine's Day! =D

Tried out Blueberry Melts in McCafe as the 1-for-1 promo ends on 19th Feb. Hmmm would prefer chocolate melts over this as the blueberry jam puree is too aritificial. :( quite a disappointment..

My usual cup of latte to accompany me through my tons of lecture notes. :)

Met up with friends again to study today and we ended up camwhoring while taking breaks in between study ;) Love them! :)

Headed for Korean Feast somewhere nearby at Tanjong Pagar Road thereafter to cheer us up! :)

Do not be deceived by this food pics! Their portions are extremely HUGE!! especially the BBQ Chicken and the Seafood Pancake..Our jaws literally drop when it was served to our table! Glad we had 2 guys to help settle as much as possible..haha! Thumbs up to the Marinated Pork Collar and Kimchi soup =D

It's back to mugging again tml!
